In addition to his primary career pursuits, he has also envisioned the idea of establishing a sustainable technology ecosystem by creating positive impact in the world around them. Akin graduated with a B.Sc in Electrical Computer, and holds as Masters of Science. Akin’s hobbies include: photography, nature, movies, fitness & mindfulness and hiking.

Joe

Joe works as a director at one of the leading investment banks. Joe is passionate about creating and implementing operational strategies that drives business value. In addition to this, Joe runs a mentorship program that connects mentees, minority students in high school and colleges, with minority professionals across different industries. Joe holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Morgan State University and a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from Johns Hopkins University. Joe’s hobbies include: tennis, road trips, hiking, gaming and volunteering

Emeka
Igwilo

Emeka is a Lead Responsible Engineer at one of the largest energy companies in the country. With over half a decade in the Power Industry, he has led multimillion-dollar projects in both the electric distribution and transmission space. Emeka is focused on building systems with the philosophy on the efficient, the sustainable, and the socially impactful. Emeka graduated with highest honors with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Morgan State University and received his MSc from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Emeka has a keen interest in geopolitics, world history, languages and sports. A soccer enthusiast and an avid Arsenal FC fan, he also enjoys tennis, table tennis, basketball and golf.

Obi is a Vice President at a leading investment bank, where he focuses on market risk explain and risk analytics. In addition to this, Obi is passionate about investments in minority enterprises and spends his spare time mentoring young minority professionals about the importance of savings and investments. Obi holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Morgan State University. Obi’s hobbies include: Military history, West African history, fitness & healthy living and modern cinema.

Sanmi
Kalesanwo

Sanmi is an electrical engineer by trade and has a professional career spanning ten years. Sanmi has led multiple capital execution projects for one of the top Energy firms in the electric power transmission and distribution space. He is also the former chairperson of the IEEE Baltimore Power and Energy Society. His expertise in technical planning and project management, and his engineering network would be a boon to any start-ups looking to succeed. He graduated from Morgan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Sanmi enjoys fiction, gaming, geopolitics, and is a movie buff, as well as a huge Ravens fan.
